What You'll Actually Learn

1

Asset Identification

We start with the basics. You'll learn to categorise your possessions, investments, and property holdings. Think of it as creating an honest inventory of what you own.

2

Liability Assessment

Debts aren't fun to look at, but understanding them matters. We'll examine mortgages, loans, and credit obligations in a straightforward way.

3

Calculation Methods

Here's where maths meets reality. You'll work through different approaches to calculating net worth, with exercises based on actual financial situations.

4

Tracking Systems

One calculation isn't enough. We'll set up systems you can use quarterly or annually to monitor changes and spot trends in your financial position.

5

Interpretation Skills

Numbers tell stories if you know how to read them. Learn what your net worth figures actually mean and how to use that information for planning.

6

Practical Applications

Theory meets practice in our final module. Work through case studies, troubleshoot common issues, and build confidence in your new skills.

Learning That Fits Your Schedule

Our autumn 2025 cohort runs for twelve weeks, with live sessions on Tuesday evenings. Can't make it? Each session is recorded and available within 24 hours.

Between sessions, you'll have access to worksheets, calculation templates, and a community forum where students share questions and insights. Some participants finish early, others take extra time—that's completely fine.

The programme includes four one-on-one consultations where you can discuss your specific situation privately. These typically happen in weeks 3, 6, 9, and 12, though we can adjust based on your needs.
